Biography

Samuel Weiss is a Swiss actor and theater director who works primarily in the theater, but has also appeared in a number of television and cinema films. He also worked as a radio play speaker and radio presenter. In 2006 he received the Rolf Mares Prize for his portrayal of King Richard III. in The Coronation of Richard III. by Hans Henny Jahnn at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg and the German Record Critics' Prize 4th Quarter 2006 for Jorinde and Joringel, by the Brothers Grimm.
