David Jason: Planes, Trains & Automobiles follows Sir David Jason as he embarks on an epic month-long journey along the west coast of America by road, rail and air.
The comedy legend starts his journey via a seaplane in Seattle, where he also meets the last surviving of the three test pilots who flew the original Boeing 747 airliner. He takes the controls of a vintage Douglas DC3 airplane; learns to drive a model T Ford, the car that changed the world; and climbs aboard a vintage timberland steam train – in the shadow of an active volcano.
