Ugo and Nora, husband and wife, have very different characters: she, from Messina, is very passionate, while he is an intellectual. One day, Ugo cheats on his wife with an American, giving divorce as the only remedy to survive marital cohabitation. The divorce procedures, however, are very long: the spouses will have to remain together for another 11 months. Meanwhile, the rich aunt Clo is diagnosed with an illness, which will occupy her for a long time, so she leaves the management of her wedding dress atelier to Ugo and Nora. The latter, an expert in marketing, discovers that the situation of the atelier is not the best. To revive the company, Nora thinks of various possible solutions until reaching an exact conclusion: transforming the atelier into a Wedding Planners agency. After various initial problems and Ugo's anger towards his wife, the project goes well and the agency will be called "Felici come noi".
