Overview
This story took place in early 1945, when a transport plane carried the latest cipher machines and key pads to Japan. In Tuancheng, a province in northern my country, Liu Jiangong (played by Wang Xin), the commander of the Third Independent Regiment of our army, is leading the third regiment in a life-and-death struggle with the Japanese troops of the Eightfold Band who are defending Tuancheng in the Huya Ridge area outside Tuancheng. When the Japanese transport plane carrying the cipher machine and key book passed over Huya Ridge, it happened to catch up with the mother of Lei Zifeng (played by Wu Qilong), the bandit leader of Huya Ridge.
