Overview
The Polock tells the tumultuous life of Wojtek Gorski, a young Polish peasant who leaves his native country in 1933 with the aim of becoming richer among his family and offering his family fertile land. When he arrives in Canada, the young immigrant has no idea that destiny has a completely different path in store for him here in Montreal, where he falls in love with a young woman and, at the same time, arouses the fierce hostility of his in-laws.
