Each episode featured eight contestants who competed in duels performing live interpretations of famous songs, Italian and otherwise, supported, however, by the use of electronic instruments with automatic intonation. At the end of the performance, the jury made up of 101 members headed by Mara Maionchi (who is the only one who has the right to speak, but whose vote is the same as that of the others), secretly votes on the performance she preferred. The host, before making the result public, offers the competitors a choice: accept a sum of money - and in this case give up continuing in the competition regardless of what the result will be - or give up the money, believe in their talent and accept the jury's verdict. Competitors can consult with relatives and friends in the difficult choice and know in advance the vote of one or more jurors. At each episode, with a funnel mechanism, the competitors who passed the first challenge faced the other rounds and it often happens that the "temptation" towards the offer of money grows. In the last heat, where the winner of the episode was decided, the tension rose to the stars: the two competitors who passed all the previous heats without being tempted by cash challenged each other to earn a place in the final. But the offer kept going up and it became increasingly difficult to believe so firmly in oneself as to refuse such an attractive amount of money. At the end of each episode, the winner received recognition from the Universal Music label, which published his single on iTunes. Finally, the overall winner of the program received €150,000 as the final prize.
