
The boys are back! Following the success of their ITV Christmas Special, Gordon, Gino and Fred's Great Christmas Roast, the boys are hitting Europe for an adventure no one will forget. This time it's personal as each episode takes us on a tour of their cherished homelands, each of them with a special occasion to prepare for. With three countries, three weeks and three coqs au vin in close confinement what could possibly go wrong? Gordon Ramsay, Gino D'Acampo and Fred Sirieix hit the road to find out which of their countries does it best and immerse themselves in the most extreme adventures, competing to find the best ingredients from some of the most stunning locations. This is food on tour like never before, but will it be a case of too many cooks?

The series kicks off with Gino at the helm and, unfortunately for the other two, the wheel, as he introduces them to the way of life of his home town of Naples and the food of the region of Campania.

In episode two, Gordon, Gino and Fred travel to France, where Fred has been asked to co-host an Oyster Festival in the beautiful Arcachon Bay, in just four days' time. They arrive in style, on a yacht from Sardinia and Gordon challenges Fred to a swimming race to the shore.

The trio head to Scotland as Gordon prepares to cook a feast for the chief of Clan Ramsay and his friends. As they tour the country picking up ingredients, Gordon shows the others how to dress in kilts like real Scotsmen. They go in search of amazing Scottish beef, scallops and salmon and take part in the Ceres Highland Games. After gathering all their ingredients, they arrive at the final stop on their tour, Brechin Castle, which is the seat of Earl Dalhousie, the clan chieftain of Clan Ramsay.

Having previously toured their own countries, Gordon Ramsay, Gino D'Acampo and Fred Sirieix now hit the highways of of the States - although in the first episode, they are in Mexico, on a mission to taste the world's best breakfast. Along the way, the trio take part in a chili-eating competition, have a beach buggy race and watch some traditional Mexican wrestling - but it isn't long before they are persuaded not take part.

In episode two, the guys are in Nevada and begin the next phase of their trip in style - in a helicopter above the Grand Canyon, as they fly over one of the greatest natural wonders of the world to explore the best of the American wild west.


The trio try lobster diving and pastry making in Crete before visiting the hot springs of Santorini and then moving on to make traditional sausages in Mykonos.

After indulging in the unique produce of the Greek islands last week and exploring the fresh local specialities that contribute to the remarkably healthy older generation, the boys are in the Greek capital of Athens, back on the road in a vintage VW campervan. This is where high-concept cuisine originated and is still being re-invented, in a city known as the birth place of democracy and the cradle of western civilisation.Highlights include a souvlaki showdown, racing in an ancient Olympic stadium, a visit to an award-winning bio-dynamic vineyard, sampling liquid Greek salad cocktails in one of the world's top bars, visiting bee-keeping nuns and truffle hunting with dogs amidst the gigantic rock pillar landscape of Meteora in central Greece.
Having traversed some of the best European culinary capitals on offer, there is a gastronomical gem that remains unexplored by our troublesome trio. This time, Gordon, Gino and Fred are heading to Spain to immerse themselves in the very best culture and cuisine on offer. They begin in Andalusia, before continuing through Galicia and more, trying out the best seafood, wine and tapas on offer as they take in stunning locations, adventures and plenty of pranks.
Gordon Ramsay, Gino D'Acampo and Fred Sirieix head to Galicia in north-west Spain, starting with a search for shellfish in Cambados with some truly inspirational women, then on to discover the heroics of winemaking in Ribeira Sacra. The trio finish their culinary pilgrimage in Santiago de Compostela, celebrating the end of their trip with the local tipple of orujo and a tasty delicacy of goose barnacles.
