Overview
In the winter of 1946, the Kuomintang established the "Central Precursor Army" composed of puppet Manchu officials, landlords, bullies, bandits, etc. in the Northeast region. This ragtag group of people continues to carry out military harassment against our army. Among them, the bandit leaders Xu Damabang (played by Qin Weidong), Zuo Shandiao (played by Ni Dahong), Ma Xishan (played by Ding Yongdai) and others gathered their remnants and fled deep into the mountains and forests. They carried out assassinations and sabotage for a long time, and their methods were extremely cruel. Bandits suddenly swarmed in the Northeast, which posed a great threat to the work and life of local people and seriously undermined the achievements of land reform. In order to eliminate banditry, the military region leaders decided to change their tactics and organized a 36-man team. Under the leadership of the regiment's chief of staff Shao Jianbo (played by Zhang Rui), Yang Zirong (played by Li Guangjie), Sun Dade (played by Xie Ziteng), Gao Bo (played by Zhang Wanyi) and others went deep into the forest and snowy plains, and successively attacked Naitou Mountain, outsmarted Weihu Mountain, and surrounded and suppressed the Great Pot Helmet. They battled wits and courage with these "sharklike, sparrow-like" ferocious enemies. After arduous and fierce confrontations again and again, the bandits were finally wiped out, and the small team achieved an overall victory in the suppression of the bandits.
