Naturalist Charlotte Uhlenbroek and TV presenter Gethin Jones undertake challenging activities available to the public as they explore nature's hidden wonders in stunning locations. Charlotte has an encounter with an inquisitive grey seal as she takes to the sea, while Gethin tries his hand at free-diving for spiny spider crabs. After a night under the stars, they both explore the famous smugglers' caves.

A visit to Exmoor sees Charlotte Uhlenbroek experiencing a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with the area's wild ponies, while Gethin Jones scales a 100-year-old oak tree as he gets to grips with a new adventure sport. Together they tread a terrifying path to discover a breathtaking view, and find themselves suspended 30ft in the air to listen to a creature of the night.
