The events in the series take place in the trauma ward of the metropolitan central hospital, which treats the most acute patient cases. They are brought there by ambulance, by helicopter - the rhythm of events is hectic. At the center of the series are four nurses. The beautiful single parent Iris, has just started working at the hospital. He has earned student money in companion service, and now, after graduating, he has difficulty struggling to get rid of his past. Johanna, on the other hand, is in her dream profession, she is a real sister in thin white. Johanna's pasmas get entangled when she develops professional ambition. The most empathetic of the nurses is the delicate Marleena. His problem is the misuse of sedatives. It is difficult for Marleen to endure the human destinies she sees in her work, she gets strength from sedative drugs to cope. Lenita, assistant ward nurse, has a moral dilemma. Her husband is lying in a vegetative state and will never wake up. Unfortunately, Lenita's daughter doesn't believe it and refuses to discuss the possibility of a resuscitation ban. In addition to interpersonal and patient stories, the series deals with the hierarchy of the hospital world from the perspective of nurses: what it feels like to follow a doctor's instructions, even though you have often had time to get to know the patient better than the doctor.
