Mario Fuentes (Imanol Arias) is a gardener who works in Madrid and who receives an invitation to work as a teacher at the school in his hometown: San Juan de la Sierra (Zamora). There he settles with his sister Ángelines (Carmen Balagué), his aunt Rita (Amparo Soler Leal), his brother-in-law Carlos (Jesús Bonilla) and his nephews -Bruno (Miguel Ángel Valcárcel) and Alicia (Noelia Mayo)-. But, if that were not enough, he will reunite with his youthful love: the school director, Elena (Emma Suárez). In the second season Ana Duato, the actress will be Lola, a veterinarian who arrives in the small town where Mario, the teacher (Imanol Arias), and Elena, the school director (Emma Suárez), continue trying to keep up appearances about their romantic relationships. Elena goes to Brussels and a romance will emerge between Lola and Mario.
