Overview
Ichiro Tanaka (Tanaka Kiyoshi) is a liar, unpopular college student who has graduated from college for the first time in his career and has decided to attend Tokyo University of Industry and Distribution (commonly known as a third-rate university), which has the lowest standard deviation score in Tokyo. One day, he falls in love at first sight with Terumi (Chiaki Kuriyama), a beautiful woman he sees on the street and arguing with a thug. Ichiro tries to help, but instead gets beaten up by a delinquent, and loses sight of Terumi, which makes him depressed. For some reason, Ichiro ends up joining his university's railway research group, and gradually steps into the world of railway geeks. So, what kind of friendship and love will you develop with the railway nerds?
