Overview
Sadık Helvacı, a bad-tempered Cyprus veteran who runs a candy and halva factory, lives in a town close to Istanbul with his wife Nesrin, who he can never make happy and who has ambitions for heights, and his two sons. His sons are as different from each other as night and day. Yiğit, a successful, ambitious young man who graduated from law school, and Doğan, his freedom-loving, unruly, vagabond brother. For Doğan, every new day means a new adventure. Yiğit's goal is clear. Doğan loves every woman he is with. Yiğit is a single woman. Crazy Yasemin, who lives in the same town and burns with the passion of settling in Istanbul. Sabit Merdoğlu, the land rich man of the town with whom Yiğit started working, Pınar Merdoğlu, his daughter hopelessly in love with Yiğit, millionaire Namık Ören, a flirtatious member of the town aristocracy, Yasemin's alcoholic mother, nurse Sebahat Kırca, and Yasemin's cousin Evrim, who lives in Istanbul, will play an active role in the relations of these two young people.
