
Alphas is a science fiction drama focusing on a team that investigates people with supernatural abilities.

Dr. Lee Rosen and his team of Alphas, extraordinary individuals who can stretch the capabilities of the human mind, investigate an implausible murder at the behest of the Department of Defense.

Marcus, a former patient of Dr. Rosen's with the ability to set off a chain reaction of events with a predetermined outcome, escapes from Binghamton, a facility designed to detain and train Alphas.

The team of Alphas, including new member Hicks, relocates to new offices in Queens after the attack on Dr. Rosen's life. While adjusting to their new surroundings the team investigates a series of violent public riots that are breaking out on the east coast. The only connection between the riots is a runaway teen, an Alpha, who overproduces certain pheromones that causes people nearby to become violent. Rosen's team must find a way to stop this Alpha without losing control themselves.

Moving in on a Red Flag stranglehold, Dr. Rosen and his team encounter a group of Alphas with unfathomable abilities. After they escape capture, Gary connects with their prisoner, Anna.

As Rachel returns home from her first date with new suitor, their first kiss overloads her senses. Back at the office, Dr. Rosen and his team of Alphas become official members of the Defense Criminal Investigation Service.

Bill and Gary pursue an outside case, putting their Alpha powers to the ultimate test.

Agent Sullivan charges Dr. Rosen and the Alphas team with tracking down and protecting Skylar, an Alpha and technology whiz with a penchant for amazing inventions which, in the wrong hands, could prove highly dangerous.

Hicks and Nina fall under the spell of Jonas, an Alpha and charismatic cult leader willing to lead his followers to their deaths.

The team finds themselves under siege by an undetectable Alpha.

When a member of the team is suspected of being an agent for Red Flag, Dr. Rosen and the Alphas are abducted and held against their will in the Binghamton facility until the traitor is revealed.

Dr. Rosen and his team must decide who to trust when Red Flag, led by Stanton Parish, escalates the war on the Department of Defense.

Nine months after Rosen revealed the existence of Alphas to the world his team has been blown apart. But, when two of their own are taken hostage our team must come back together to save their lives.

On the hunt for a killer with super-speed, our team realizes his search has lead him directly to them, with deadly consequences.

An investigation leads Harken and Hicks to go undercover in a secret, underground Alphas-only Fight Club where they meet "Kat", a wry, fast-talking, energetic fellow Alpha whose ability is that she's able to instantly memorize any physical or mental skill. Ultimately Kat is put in jeopardy by the bad guys and Harken and our team rescue her. In the end, Rosen considers inviting Kat to join their odd-ball family of quirky superheroes.

The Team investigates an Alpha-related crime spree leading to one of their own, who is in the midst of a dangerous emotional breakdown. Our Team races to stop them before they hurt themselves or someone else.

A powerful Alpha seems to have lost his mind and is attacking people at a hospital forcing, but as the team tracks him down they each begin to lose touch with reality.

Rosen enlists Alpha tech-whiz Skylar Adams to help to discover the purpose of an Alpha enhancing technology, but Rosen's zeal puts both Skylar and her daughter in grave danger.

Our team comes face to face with further evidence of Parish's evil agenda when a young Alpha reveals a deadly mind control ability which leads to a showdown between Rosen and Parish.

Now that Rosen has discovered the identity of the mole, he must face down the nearly impossible choice of what to do next. Meanwhile, the team takes on their individual family issues: Hicks' son Tyler comes for a surprise visit and John gets to meet Rachel's parents. And Kat gets her first case, tracking a mysterious new street drug that makes users temporarily invincible.

When Hicks turns defector and beginning working for Parish, Rosen and the team can only wonder: has Hicks truly turned, or is he playing a deeper game involving Dani? The truth comes out when the team uncovers Parish's plot to cause a massive, deadly blackout, and victory will come at a cost that none of them are prepared to pay.

How does one grieve and move on from a terrible loss? Everyone's process is different. Dani's shocking death at the hands of Parish leaves Rosen and the team grasping for lifelines. Presented with his toughest emotional challenge, Rosen struggles to find a way through grief, hiding behind his usual reserve.

It's Midnight Run, Alphas-style as Hicks and Kat transport a valuable Parish asset: a babbling, off-his-nuts memory sponge Alpha named Mitchell. Mitchell just might hold the strategic intel they need to stop Parish... if they can outrun and outwit Roland's seemingly indestructible Alpha "caretaker". Meanwhile, Rosen is on his own hunt for Parish' Achilles' heel, a weak point to strike at. But Senator's Burton sudden presence in the Alphas office threatens to expose Rosen and Nina's own Achilles' heel.

When Rosen kidnaps and interrogates an Alpha prisoner, the team wonders how far Rosen will go in seeking revenge for the death of his daughter. Meanwhile, Harken and Gary, desperately searching for Skylar, discover Parish has imprisoned her in an only Alphas form of captivity.

Separated from the team and haunted by vivid hallucinations of his daughter, Dani, an injured and increasingly desperate Doctor Rosen seeks a final confrontation with Alpha leader Stanton Parish. Meanwhile the team battles both the clock and their own mutual distrust to thwart Parish's deadly plans.
