Meanwhile, Emma's past is revealed to be anything but magical when she meets up with a fellow thief who wants to make an honest woman out of her.

Ruby's fear about turning into a wolf during the first curse-free Storybrooke full moon is confirmed when one of the town's residents is viciously murdered, and Ruby is the prime suspect; Decker - aka King George - threatens to expose David as a shepherd, not a prince, and not fit to run the town as sheriff; and Leroy stumbles upon some treasure in the Storybrooke mine that could help bring Mary Margaret and Emma back into our world. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Red Riding Hood finds a kindred spirit in Anita, a charismatic and mysterious leader of a pack of humans who, like Red, turn out to be wolves.

Cora tries to steal the compass from Emma and Mary Margaret; Regina and Mr. Gold must put David's life in danger in hope that he will contact Mary Margaret.

Cora and Hook face off with Mary Margaret and Emma in a race to secure the compass, which will point its holder to the portal into Storybrooke. But back on the other side, Regina and Mr. Gold, desperate to keep Cora out, put a plan into action that would kill anyone entering the portal - placing Mary Margaret's and Emma's lives in danger as well. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land that was, Captain Hook travels to Wonderland and meets up with a vengeful Queen of Hearts.

Regina is accused of murdering one of the town's most beloved fairytale characters -- but only Emma senses that she may be innocent. Mr. Gold finds an unwilling test subject to see if a spell he has concocted will allow him to cross the border of Storybrooke -- without losing his memory -- and go in search of his son, Bae; Belle stumbles upon a vengeful Hook in the Storybrooke harbor whose main goal is to eradicate Rumplestiltskin; and Mary Margaret and David go house hunting in search of a bigger place to live. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Belle meets Mulan as the two set out to slay a fearsome beast called the Yaoguai, who has been ravaging the land.

Dr. Whale is tasked with mending Hook's wounds and performing surgery on the stranger whose car crashed upon entering Storybrooke. But some of the townspeople fear that the stranger may have seen magic -- which could expose their true identities to the world -- and think that leaving him to die would be the best solution. Meanwhile, as Mr. Gold tries to reunite with a despondent Belle, Cora attempts to reunite with daughter Regina; and in the land that was, Victor desperately wants to prove to his disapproving father that he can, indeed, bring back the dead.

Kidnapped and brought to Storybrooke by Cora, the Giant unleashes his vengeance on the town when a case of mistaken identity leads him to try and settle an old score with David; Mr. Gold, accompanied by Emma and Henry, attempts to depart Storybrooke - hoping to keep his memory intact when he crosses the town line -- and heads to the airport in search of his son Bae; and Greg questions Belle as to what she saw on the night of his car accident. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was and against his brothers' wishes, Anton, the Giant, climbs down the beanstalk and attempts to befriend some humans - whose intentions may not be so noble.

While Mr. Gold, Emma and Henry go in search of Gold's son Bae in New York, Cora, Regina and Hook attempt to track down one of Rumplestiltskin's most treasured possessions. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Rumplestiltskin realizes his destiny while fighting in the Ogres War.

Upon discovering Cora and Regina's plan to find and take possession of Rumplestiltskin's dagger, Mary Margaret, with the aid of David and Mother Superior, makes it her mission to find it first; and while Mr. Gold continues his quest in New York to reunite with son Bae, Hook devises a plan to rid himself of a crocodile. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, the Blue Fairy offers Snow White an unconventional enchantment that could help save her dying mother, Queen Eva.

Cora's desire to rid herself of Rumplestiltskin in order to take his place as The Dark One takes one step closer to becoming reality as she and Regina try to overpower a dying Mr. Gold, and Mary Margaret is once again tempted by dark magic. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Rumplestiltskin agrees to offer his services to a younger Cora - for a price - when the king calls her bluff and orders her to actually follow through on her boast of being able to spin straw into gold.

Emma, David and Mr. Gold must protect Mary Margaret against Regina, who is out for revenge and has made it her mission to kill Mary; and Henry, fed up with all of the feuding, devises a plan to put an end to magic. Meanwhile, Regina discovers that a father and son have somehow found their way into her allegedly undetectable town as she and the fairytale characters deal with the effects of the newly cast curse 28 years prior.

While Mary Margaret goes off on her own in an attempt to come to grips with what she did to Cora and how her deed has affected her, she stumbles upon August, who has hidden himself away from the others and is completely made of wood -- ashamed at the actions he has taken in life; and Emma is shocked when Neal invites his fiancée, Tamara, to come to Storybrooke. Meanwhile, before the curse was cast, August is introduced to a man of magic who may be able to prevent him from turning back into wood -- but at a steep price.

Mr. Gold enlists the aid of David to help him try to jog Belle's now cursed memories and get her to love him again; and when it is revealed that the magic beans Anton and the dwarves have been harvesting have begun to grow and could possibly transport everybody home, Emma is torn over whether she would want to live in fairytale land or stay in our world. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Rumplestiltskin forces Belle to accompany him on a hunt to kill a thief, whom she had freed in the name of mercy.

With the aid of Hook, Regina attempts to put a plan in motion that will help transport herself and Henry back to Fairytale land. But her plan revolves around a fail-safe that was planted within the curse, which if triggered could wipe Storybrooke off the map - and kill all of its inhabitants; and Emma's suspicions about Tamara grow. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, the Evil Queen asks Rumplestiltskin to transform her into an unrecognizable peasant in order to kill an unsuspecting Snow White, with the twisted aim of earning the love and respect of her subjects.

Emma, Mary Margaret and David go in search of Regina when they discover that she - along with some magic beans - have gone missing. But against Neal's protests, Emma still believes that Tamara had something to do with Regina's disappearance; and Mr. Gold contemplates telling Lacey the truth about his ability to conjure magic. Meanwhile, after Rumplestiltskin abandons his son and lets him travel alone through a portal, young Bae finds himself back in 19th century London and is taken in by the Darling family -- befriending their daughter Wendy.

The inhabitants of Storybrooke brace themselves for the end when Greg and Tamara detonate the trigger Regina had placed within the curse, with the annihilation of the town and its residents imminent; and Mr. Gold mourns the loss of his son, Bae/Neal. Meanwhile, back in Neverland of the past, Hook discovers his connection to a young Bae after he rescues him from the sea and soon realizes that the Lost Boys are in hot pursuit of the boy.

In their continuing quest to find Peter Pan's hideout and save Henry, Hook suggests tracking down Tinker Bell in the hope that she will lead them straight to his camp. Pan reveals to Henry why he has brought him to Neverland and in the Enchanted Forest, Neal has a plan that could transport him to Emma, but it would involve using one of Robin Hood's most precious possessions. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was, Tinker Bell offers to help Regina improve her life.

Mr. Gold makes a decision to confront Pan, but will he go there to save Henry or give in to the prophecy that the boy will be his undoing? Neal finds himself back in Neverland and in the custody of one of Pan's most loyal Lost Boys. And David struggles for his life as the poison continues to take its toll on him. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was, Rumplestiltskin goes in search of a missing Bae, who has followed a mysterious figure who steals away children with his music.

With the deadly Dreamshade coursing through David's body and close to death, Hook takes him on one last journey to find a sextant that could help them decipher a map that would lead them off Neverland. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was, Killian Jones - aka Hook - and his brother, Captain Liam, sail off under orders of the King to find a powerful indigenous plant on an uncharted land that could help heal any injury.

Back in the Fairy Tale Land that was, when Ariel saves Snow White from drowning in the ocean's depths, Snow returns the favor by helping her new friend get acquainted with Prince Eric, with whom she has fallen madly in love with. Meanwhile, Emma, Mary Margaret, David and Hook attempt to save Neal, who is imprisoned in one of Pan's encampments, and Regina and Mr. Gold begrudgingly team up to find a way to take down Pan.

Mr. Gold and Regina send Ariel back to Storybrooke with an item that will allow Belle to locate a hidden artifact that could help take down Pan. But unbeknownst to them, two men have broken into the town with the intent to stop them - at all costs. Meanwhile, Emma, Neal and Hook attempt to find Dark Hollow, where Peter Pan's shadow dwells, in order to capture it, and Mary Margaret is upset with David for keeping his poisoning a secret from her.

Pan leads Henry to a secret cave, where he has convinced the boy that he alone can save magic and Neverland itself. But a showdown between good and evil is about to go down as Emma, Mary Margaret, David, Regina, Mr. Gold and Hook find themselves directly on a path to Pan in an effort to save Henry. Meanwhile, back in the Fairy Tale Land that was, young Rumplestiltskin is given a magical item that could help him make a fresh start with his father -- who has been anything but a good dad.

While Henry's life hangs in the balance, the race is on to stop Pan from gaining full magical powers from the heart of the truest believer. Meanwhile, in Storybrooke of the past, Regina decides to fill a void in her life and, with Mr. Gold's help, sets out to adopt a baby.

The residents of Storybrooke are overjoyed upon the return of Henry and our heroes from Neverland. But unbeknownst to them, a plan is secretly being put into place by a well-hidden Pan that will shake up the very lives of the townspeople. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was, Snow White and Prince Charming's honeymoon turns out to be anything but romantic when they go in search of a mythical being that could stop Regina cold in her tracks.

In the Winter Finale episode, the race is on to stop Pan from enacting another curse on the residents of Storybrooke, which could kill every living soul in town.

After Rumplestiltskin sacrificed his life to stop Pan from enacting another curse, Regina obliterated her original curse, which erased Storybrooke from existence and whisked its residents back to Fairy Tale Land - leaving Emma and Henry back in our world with no memories of Storybrooke. But all is not well back in the Enchanted Forest when Hook comes calling on Emma in New York City in an attempt to jog her memory so that she can once again help her fairy tale family and friends out of a desperate situation.

Emma arrives in Storybrooke with Henry and reunites with her friends and family, only to discover that no one remembers how they were transported back - or the past year they had spent back in Fairy Tale Land. But Emma is sure that someone in town is responsible for this new curse and teams up with Regina in an attempt to uncover their identity. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was during the past year, Regina, with the aid of Robin Hood, attempts to break into her castle, which has been overtaken by the Wicked Witch.

While Emma, David, Regina and Hook continue their search for the Wicked Witch, she, in turn, is planning a dark surprise for David, and Zelena's prisoner is powerless under her watch as she plots her next course of action against the townspeople. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was in the previous year, Prince Charming stumbles upon Rapunzel, who is trapped inside a tower, and must help her confront her fears in order for her to be free.

Neal finds himself back in Storybrooke and yearns for a way to reconnect with his son Henry, whose memories of his father are gone, while also trying to find his own father, Rumplestiltskin, whom he has just learned is alive but missing, and Regina discovers a possible connection with Robin Hood. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was over the past year, agonizing over the death of his father, Neal - with the help of Belle and enchanted candelabra Lumiere - attempts to find a magical solution to bring back Rumplestiltskin from the dead.

With Rumplestiltskin as her slave, Zelena challenges Regina to a fight to the death and shocks the Evil queen with the reveal of their familial connection, and the town lays Neal to rest. Meanwhile, back in the past in the land of Oz, a jealous Zelena asks the Wizard to send her to Fairy Tale Land after discovering that she has a sister, Regina, and that Rumplestiltskin is training her to become a powerful force to be reckoned with.

Ariel returns to Storybrooke and pleads with Hook to help her find Prince Eric, who never returned to the town when the new curse was invoked. Emma agrees to let Regina teach her how to use magic so that she can help defeat Zelena, and Mary Margaret and David try to prove that they can be just as much fun as Hook is with Henry -- who thinks they are boring. Meanwhile, in Fairy Tale Land during the past year, an angry Ariel confronts Hook over her missing Prince Eric, who she assumes was kidnapped and possibly killed by the swarthy pirate. But when Hook confesses that the Jolly Roger has been stolen and Eric is most likely the thief's prisoner, Ariel unknowingly provides him with a clue as to who the culprit is, and Hook - with Ariel in tow - goes off in search of his ship.

After Zelena steals Regina's heart, Regina casts a spell so that she can speak across the realms to her dead mother, Cora, to discover the truth about why she abandoned Zelena, and Belle stumbles across what Zelena's ultimate end game is. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was, young Cora is duped by a man claiming to be a prince and finds herself alone and pregnant. But a chance meeting with a real prince could lead Cora to the royal life she's always craved, but she must keep her pregnancy a secret or risk losing everything.

Zelena threatens to kill Henry if Hook - whose lips have been cursed by the Wicked Witch -- doesn't proceed with kissing Emma, which will drain all of her magical powers away, and things begin to heat up between Regina and Robin Hood. Meanwhile, back in the Fairy Tale Land that was during the past year, Snow and Charming go in search of Glinda, the Good Witch of the South, to see if she can help them defeat Zelena, and the curse that will ultimately send the Fairy Tale characters back to Storybrooke is cast -- but from an unlikely source.

With Mary Margaret in labor and due to give birth at any moment, the residents of Storybrooke go on high alert in an attempt to ensure that Zelena doesn't try to steal her newborn baby for use in her ultimate game plan to turn back time and change her destiny -- while obliterating Regina's existence. Meanwhile, in the land of Oz of the past, Glinda tries to convince Zelena to fight her evil tendencies and join her and her sister witches as a protector of Oz. But the appearance of a young girl from Kansas could turn out to be her undoing.

While Mary Margaret and David celebrate the naming of their son at a coronation in Granny's Diner, Emma and Hook are pulled into Zelena's time portal and find themselves in the Enchanted Forest of the past. But in their quest to discover a way back, they must be careful not to change ANYTHING or risk altering the lives of their friends and family -- as well as their very own existence.

When an icy spell is cast on Marian, which will ultimately freeze her heart and kill her, the Storybrooke residents place the blame on Elsa. But unbeknownst to anyone, a mysterious woman who runs the town's ice cream parlor has the same powers as Elsa and is trying to frame her. Emma and David find former Merry Men member Will Scarlet rummaging through Robin Hood's tent, Regina teams up with Henry to try and discover who the author of the fairy tale book is, Mary Margaret is having trouble balancing her duties as leader of Storybrooke and mother to young Prince Neal, and Hook begins to suspect that Mr. Gold is still in control of the dagger that calls upon him to be the Dark One. Meanwhile, in Arendelle of the past, Elsa and Kristoff set off to stop Hans from attempting to take control of the kingdom.

After Emma asks Hook out on a real first date, Hook visits Mr. Gold and asks for his hand to be reattached so that he can embrace her with both hands. But magic always comes with a price. Henry and Mary Margaret try to offer hope to Regina when she becomes frustrated over not being able to find a cure to save a frozen Marian, and Will Scarlet attempts to break into the Storybrooke library to find a special book. Meanwhile, back in the Fairy Tale Land that was, Rumplestiltskin is after a magical box that the Sorcerer's apprentice is guarding, and he may use Elsa's sister Anna to help him get it.

Regina reluctantly teams up with Emma to search for the Snow Queen after Sidney, who is once again Regina's prisoner in the mirror, discovers her whereabouts and agrees to lead her to the location. With Belle babysitting baby Neal, a nervous Mary Margaret and David prepare for their first date night away from their child and find themselves on a mission to track down Will Scarlet, who has escaped from the town jail, and Elsa sees Anna in the Storybrooke woods. Meanwhile, back in the past, young Emma finds herself a kindred spirit when she befriends a girl who, like her, is a runaway orphan.

The race is on to track down the elusive Snow Queen, who was once a foster mother to a young Emma - whose memories of this event have been erased - in order to discover what her ultimate end game is for Elsa and the residents of Storybrooke, and unaware that she does not possess the real blade that controls The Dark One, Belle attempts to use it to get her reluctant husband to show her where the Snow Queen is hiding. Meanwhile, back in the past, Belle travels to Arendelle and, with Anna's help, seeks out Grand Pabbie to help her regain her lost memories in order to discover the fate of her mother.

Emma captures the Snow Queen and interrogates her at the sheriff's station. But the Snow Queen uses her prior knowledge of Emma to try to persuade her into thinking that they are more alike than she could possibly imagine. Regina and Robin Hood's relationship grows increasingly complex as they struggle to find a way to save his dying wife, Emma begins to see what she missed out on by not growing up and being a family with Snow and Charming when she sees how involved Mary Margaret is in baby Neal's life, and Henry begins his after school job in Gold's shop while trying to help Regina find a clue to the identity of the author of the storybook. Meanwhile, in Arendelle of the past, we learn about the origin of the Snow Queen and her familial connection to Elsa and Anna as we see her discover her spectacular yet deadly ice powers.

In Arendelle, when the Snow Queen tries to pit Elsa and Anna against each other and it proves more difficult than she anticipates, she takes drastic measures. Meanwhile, in Storybrooke Emma's powers are out of control and her fear of hurting loved ones pushes her away from everyone she cares about. In her confusion, Emma turns to Gold for help getting her powers under control. Gold tells her about a way to get rid of her powers altogether and Hook tries to put a stop to it. Meanwhile, Regina struggles with her plan to find the author of the storybook until her quest takes an unexpected turn. Robin Hood recruits Will Scarlet to assist him on a mission and Mary Margaret and David search for Emma.

Emma isolates herself from loved ones to protect them as her powers grow uncontrollable, and she seeks help from Mr. Gold. Meanwhile, in the Arendelle of the past, the Snow Queen struggles to ignite a rivalry between Anna and Elsa.

As the Spell of Shattered Sight approaches Storybrooke, Mary Margaret and David rally the residents to prepare for the curse while Belle and the fairies work together on an antidote. Gold, with Hook as his reluctant servant, sets about an exit strategy of his own. Regina and Robin Hood ready themselves for the worst while, with the help of a locator spell, Emma and Elsa search desperately for Anna. In Arendelle, Anna and Kristoff awaken to find that their kingdom is once again in danger.

Storybrooke is in a state of chaos with all the residents under the Snow Queen's Spell of Shattered Sight at each other's throats. Emma and Elsa race against the clock to free themselves of the ribbons and take down the Snow Queen and her curse. David can only watch when Regina clashes with Mary Margaret in an epic battle. Meanwhile, Gold gathers Belle and Henry as he prepares to leave town forever, and Will Scarlet looks to square his tab with Hook. Kristoff's thick-headedness leads Anna to a heartwarming discovery.

In the aftermath of the Snow Queen's spell, our heroes try to pick up the pieces and Regina has to make a difficult choice. Hook's fate hangs in the balance as Gold's quest for power threatens everything he holds dear. And, in the Enchanted Forest flashback, an intrusion during Belle's stay at Rumplestiltskin's dark castle will wreak havoc in both the past and the future.

Hook and Belle search for a way to release the fairies from the Sorcerer's hat, while Emma, Henry and Regina continue to look for clues that could lead them to the Author. But when a terrifying darkness descends on the town, Emma and Regina are forced to confront the true nature of evil. Meanwhile, in New York, Gold and Ursula enlist Cruella De Vil to join their cause.

David and Mary Margaret suspect Cruella and Ursula have come to Storybrooke looking for something more than their own happy endings - something that threatens to reveal a secret they thought was long buried. Emma begins her own investigation of Cruella and Ursula, but she can't shake the feeling that her friends and family are keeping something from her. Regina and Henry continue their search for the Author, turning to Pinocchio and Marco in the hope Pinocchio might remember a clue that will help them. Meanwhile, in a flashback to Fairy Tale Land, Snow and Charming cross paths with the Queens of Darkness as the threat of the Evil Queen's Dark Curse hangs over all of them.

In order to infiltrate the Queens of Darkness as a spy for the heroes, Regina must prove she's still willing to get her hands dirty. Meanwhile, Emma, David and Mary Margaret scramble to keep tabs on their undercover operative. Hook requests an unusual favor from Belle as Henry makes progress on his search for the Author. In a Fairy Tale Land flashback, Regina befriends Maleficent and helps her to rekindle her lost spark.

Hook leverages his complicated history with Ursula to find out what she knows about Gold's endgame. In a Fairy Tale Land flashback, when a restless young Ursula enlists Hook's help to run away from home, she soon learns it isn't wise to trust a pirate.

Hook tells Emma that her fate is at stake in Gold's plan while Regina leads the villains on a wild goose chase. Henry makes a breakthrough in his search to find the Author, but Mary Margaret and David need a moment to reconsider the best course of action. In a Fairy Tale Land flashback, Snow and Charming search for a way to ensure their child will grow-up to be a hero. When a traveling peddler directs them to visit a kindly old hermit, Snow and Charming are presented with a choice that could secure their child's goodness, but at a price that will haunt them for years to come on.

Emma is still reeling after learning the truth of her parents' history with Maleficent, but she must focus on finding the Author, who is running loose in Storybrooke, before Gold does. When Gold's quest for his happy ending grows more urgent, he blackmails Regina into helping him. In a Fairy Tale Land flashback, Robin Hood learns what it means to be an honorable thief when he accepts a proposition by Rumpelstiltskin to travel to Oz to steal a valuable magic elixir from the Wicked Witch.

In fictional 1920s England, viewers meet a young Cruella, whose oppressive mother uses her Dalmatians to terrorize her daughter. Cruella is confined to her mother's attic until a mysterious stranger arrives and empowers her to challenge her captor. In Storybrooke, Regina gains leverage to keep Gold from interfering with her plan to rescue Robin, but her trip to New York takes the backseat when she and Emma learn that Cruella has kidnapped Henry.

Emma's potential for darkness is looming over everyone, but when Emma realizes Maleficent's daughter Lily is in fact her closest friend from her foster care days, she resolves to find Lily and reunite her with her mother. Regina joins forces with Emma and together they set out to track down Lily and to warn Robin about Zelena. However, neither of them is prepared for the harsh realities they'll encounter in the outside world. Meanwhile, in Storybrooke, Gold faces a crisis involving Belle. In a foster care flashback, things are looking up for young Emma with her new family until Lily's appearance threatens to destabilize everything.

Emma returns to Storybrooke to reunite Lily with Maleficent while Regina and Robin struggle to cope with the implications of Zelena's pregnancy. When Gold's health takes a turn for the worse, Isaac looks to a new ally for help procuring the magic ink he needs to re-write history. In the past, Arthur threatens to tear his marriage asunder in his quest to restore Excalibur. Meanwhile, Guinevere and Lancelot enter the Dark One's Vault to find the Dagger, and Guinevere is forced to make a deal with Rumplestiltskin. Six weeks earlier in Camelot, Mary Margaret and Lancelot prepare to hide the blade, but discover that Arthur has an unexpected ally.

Emma discovers how Merlin was imprisoned in a tree, and must take drastic steps to acquire the one necessary ingredient... steps that will lead her into darkness. Meanwhile, in the current Storybrooke, the townspeople decide to have a block party to lift everyone's hopes. Henry turns to Emma for help find Violet's missing horse, and Regina and the others learn that Emma has Excalibur.

Six weeks earlier, Belle travels with Merida to help her defeat the clans and rescue her brothers. In the present, Emma continues her efforts to turn Gold into a hero by forcing Merida to threaten Belle's life. When the couple try to leave Storybrooke, Merida transforms into a bear and attacks Belle. Meanwhile, the others discover that Arthur is lying to them.

Six weeks earlier, Emma and Merlin quest for the Flame which can reunite the two parts of Excalibur. Meanwhile, Regina and the others sneak into Camelot to recover the two pieces. However, things go horribly awry. In the distant past, the origin of Merlin's powers and the first Dark One are revealed.

In the present, Hook takes desperate measures to find out what Emma is hiding from him during their time in Camelot. Three weeks earlier, Emma must make an impossible choice when she must decide whether to give up the Darkness or use it to save her future.

Arthur convinces Zelena to help him seek out a magical helm that will let him compel his men to find Merlin and Emma. However, they soon cross paths with Merida, who is seeking the helm because her father Fergus bargained with the witch to obtain it. Together with two new friends--Ruby and Mulan--Merida races to find the helm and the man who killed her father.

Three weeks earlier, Hook sets in motion the events that will lead to everyone returning to Storybrooke with their memories erased. In the present, Hook challenges Gold to a duel but has an ulterior motive. Meanwhile, Emma tries to convince Henry that he can trust her even though she's a Dark One.

The Dark Ones bind themselves to the living so that they can remain in the real world... and the townspeople will be taken to the Underworld in their place. Emma tries desperately to find a way to stop the Dark Ones' plan, but the others accept the inevitably and spend their last moments together. In the past, Regina tests Hook by leading him to his father and offering him transportation to the real world once Hook proves that he has no weaknesses for Cora to exploit.

After a meeting with a former friend, Emma arrives in the Underworld with the others. They find a "dark" Storybrooke ruled over by Cora, and Cora threatens the soul of Regina's father if Regina doesn't return to the land of the living. In the past, Cora finds the perfect present for her daughter's birthday.

In the present, Hook helps his cellmate to escape so that she can tell his rescuers where he is. Mary Margaret meets an old friend, and must give him the courage that he once gave her. In the past, a young Snow faces her first challenge when bandits threaten her people.

Gold offers to help Emma find Hook, but needs Milah's help to breach the gates of the Underworld. Meanwhile, Regina consults Cruella to find out what happened to Daniel. In the past, Rumple must make a deal to save the life of his son after Bae is bitten by a snake.

In the Underworld, Hook is reunited with his older brother Liam. Liam offers to help the group find the Storybook and the pages containing Hades' weakness... and then makes a deal with the Lord of the Underworld. In the past, Liam leads a mutiny against Captain Silver, and makes a deal with Hades to ensure his success.

Zelena, Belle, and Zelena's baby daughter are all pulled to the Underworld by Gold's portal spell. Meanwhile, in the past, the connection between Hades and Zelena is revealed.

In the Underworld, Hades convinces Gaston to hunt down the Beast that killed him--Gold. While Belle tries to find an alternative, Hades offers her a deal of her own. In the past, the circumstances behind Gaston and Belle meeting for the first time are explored.

Ruby tells the others how she arrived in Storybrooke after traveling to Oz with Mulan and meeting Dorothy. Meanwhile, Mary Margaret and David make plans for one of them to go back and be with their son Neal, and Belle comes up with a way to protect her and her unborn child from Hades.

Regina realizes that Zelena plans to try and reform Hades, and turns to Cora for help when she refuses to accept that her sister can turn the villain from evil. Meanwhile, James abducts David and takes his place. In the past, Regina and Zelena are briefly united as sisters but tragedy ensues.

Hades asks the heroes to help him make sure that Gold and Pan go through with their end of the deal so that he can get Zelena back. Once they do, the Underworld begins to fall apart and Henry offers to help the other residents find their unfinished business. Meanwhile, Cruella and the Blind Witch take steps to make sure the heroes don't escape. In the past, Emma meets a sympathetic bounty hunter who helps her find out about the parents who abandoned her.

The heroes return to Storybrooke but discovers that Hades has plans of his own to conquer the town. In the Underworld, Hook finds a new ally and together they set out to find the Storybook pages that show Hades' weakness.

Henry sets out to destroy magic and takes Violet with him. While Emma and Regina go after their son, the others try to create a portal to the Enchanted Forest and are transported to a mysterious land ruled over by a violent Warden with a grudge against Gold.

Henry manages to destroy magic, trapping half of his family in the Land of Untold Stories.To restore the magic, he must convince the people of New York to believe in magic. Meanwhile, Regina faces her darker self, while Gold makes a deal with the mysterious Warden.

The Evil Queen and Hyde continue on their quest to steal Dr. Jekyll's serum; Snow looks forward to her first day back as a school teacher; and while Emma looks forward to Hook moving in with her, Hook finds himself trying to protect Belle from Mr. Gold, who has made sure she can't leave the confines of the pirate ship.

Princess Jasmine recruits Aladdin to help her recover a secret weapon capable of breaking Jafar's hold on the Sultan and saving the city from ruin. In Storybrooke, the Evil Queen tricks Hook and the Charmings and forces Emma to reveal her secret in an effort to divide the family.

Emma tries to convince Aladdin to work with Jasmine to help Agrabah, while Regina teams up with Snow and David to free Archie from Zelena. Meanwhile, in the past, Hook finds himself kidnapped by the mysterious Captain Nemo and held captive aboard his submarine, the Nautilus.

In Storybrooke, the Evil Queen threatens to destroy the town and everyone in it unless Snow and David surrender their hearts. As Emma, Hook, and Henry prepare to defend Storybrooke, Snow, David, and Regina search for a magical sapling created by the first spark of true love.

Emma and Regina formulate a plan to trap the Evil Queen in a prison of their own making, while Snow and David adjust to life without each other. Meanwhile, Zelena agrees to help Belle, and together they enlist Aladdin to steal a magical object from Mr. Gold that could protect Belle and her unborn child from him forever.

Gold tells the Evil Queen she must kill Zelena, and the Queen makes a decision that will change her relationship with her sister forever. When Belle discovers Gold's plans for their son, she convinces Hook and Emma to help her steal squid ink that can immobilize him. Meanwhile, Jasmine finds a genie-less lamp that she hopes to use to save Agrabah.

When she learns the heroes possess a weapon capable of defeating her, the Evil Queen steals Aladdin's magic lamp from Jasmine and makes a wish that could sideline the Savior forever. Unwilling to wake Snow while Emma is missing, David works with Hook and Henry to hold the Evil Queen at bay in Storybrooke.

With Snow still asleep in Storybrooke, David and Hook race to stop Gideon before he can confront Emma. Meanwhile, Regina struggles with the realization that everyone, even Robin, is better off in the alternate world where the Evil Queen was defeated. And when Emma inspires a familiar face to help her and Regina return home, she discovers the power to change her fate.

Before Hook takes the next step in his relationship with Emma, he wants to make sure David sees him as more than just a pirate. When David asks Hook to help him uncover the truth about his father's death, Hook agrees. Meanwhile, Regina works to acclimate Robin to life in Storybrooke, but soon discovers he has a dark side that makes the task much more complicated than she anticipated.

When Gideon resumes his mission to kill Emma and become the Savior, Gold steps in to ensure that the use of dark magic does not poison his son. Meanwhile, Robin proves willing to ally himself with anyone offering the possibility of escape from Regina and Storybrooke. Hook gathers the courage to come clean to Emma, but not before she discovers he's been keeping a secret.

Believing there isn't room in Storybrooke for both her and Regina, the Evil Queen sets out to eliminate her other half. Hook, determined to make things work with Emma, turns to his old friend Captain Nemo for advice, but Gideon torpedoes the plan before he's able to set things right.

When Hook finds himself trapped in another realm along with the Nautilus and her crew, he races to return to Emma before Gideon can execute the rest of his plan. In Storybrooke, Regina and Snow take Emma out to get her mind off Hook's disappearance. And in a flashback to Agrabah, Jasmine befriends Ariel, and together they set out to locate Prince Eric as the threat from Jafar intensifies.

Gold and Belle convince Emma to help Gideon, explaining that together they can stop the Black Fairy. Henry experiences a disorienting shift in his powers that forces Regina to seek counsel from the previous Author. Meanwhile, in Fairy Tale Land, Hook attempts to win the assistance of an old adversary by betting his most prized possession on a game of cards. And, in a flashback, the Black Fairy tortures young Gideon in hopes of molding him into the perfect apprentice.

Trapped in Neverland, Hook aligns himself with Tiger Lily, hoping to find a way back to Emma. In Storybook, Regina works to break the sleeping curse that David and Snow are under, and Gold denies The Black Fairy, which brings the two of them to a fearsome impasse.

Zelena decides to take on the Black Fairy and put a stop to her, once and for all, against Regina's wishes, and the Charmings disagree over Emma and Hook's wedding plans.

After Rumple's mother learns from his fairy godmother that his destiny is prophesied, she does everything in her power to keep it from happening. Meanwhile, in Storybrooke, Rumple faces a similar dilemma.

In flashback, Snow and Charming make a special wish that Emma will be protected. The result of their wish has the whole kingdom bursting into song which infuriates the Evil Queen. Meanwhile in Storybrooke, the Black Fairy announces her plans to unleash another curse on the town while Emma and Hook prepare for their wedding.

Henry awakens to a cursed Storybrooke and discovers Emma has been in the mental hospital, and the Black Fairy is the new mayor. Henry attempts to help Emma regain her memory, while Gold tries to find out what has really happened to Belle.

Snow, Charming, Regina, Zelena and Hook are trapped in a crumbling Fairy Tale Land and desperately try to figure out a way to be reunited with Emma and Henry.

Lucy runs away from Ivy, when Ivy is forced to take her trick-or-treating. Meanwhile, Tilly tells Weaver that she knows who he really is. In the past, Gold and Belle search for a way to end the Dark One's curse.

Sabine convinces Jacinda to join her in a baginet-making operation so that they can escape Victoria's tyranny, but Victoria has a plan of her own. In the past, Tiana sets out to find a prince with the help of a traveling soothsayer, Dr. Facilier, but Facilier has a plan to get the Firefly Ruby in Tiana's possession.

Roni convinces Weaver to check on Lucy's story of Regina Mills adopting a baby boy in Boston. Meanwhile, Rogers turns to Tilly for help with Eloise's disappearance, and in the past Regina teaches Drizella how to do magic.

Rogers gets a lead on Eloise's location, but is unaware that he's being played to release someone more powerful than he knows. In the past, Hook climbs a tower to rescue the long-haired beauty within and obtain a magical flower that he needs to get his revenge.

Jacinda turns to an old friend to help get Lucy back, disappointing Henry in the process. Meanwhile, Gothel demands that Ivy bring her Anastasia's body, and Rogers finds himself at loose ends now that he's found Eloise.

Victoria negotiates a release from jail by offering Weaver information on the Guardian. Meanwhile, Jacinda turns to Nick for help when she needs the paperwork on Lucy checked, while Rogers discovers that Weaver is investigating the residents of Hyperion Heights.

Regina finds Zelena in San Francisco and tries to awaken her memories. Meanwhile, Henry rushes to Lucy's side and tries to wake her with true love's kiss. In the past, Drizella and Gothel capture Henry and force Regina to cast the curse.

Victoria and Drizella manage to escape the well, and discover how Gothel intends to bring Lucy back to life. In the past, Zelena discovers that Robin has run away and goes after her with Hook's help.

In the present, Sabine tries to start up the food truck on her own and meets an old classmate who apparently sabotages her efforts. Meanwhile, the mysterious Baron Samdi appears and offers to invest in the bar. In the past, Tania is forced to team up with an arrogant prince to defeat a creature preying on her subjects.

Tilly warns Rogers and Gold not to trust Gothel, and is soon framed for a crime she didn't commit. Meanwhile, Ivy takes Henry's advice and reaches out to Jacinda. In the past, Hook seeks out Captain Ahab, who holds the key to freeing Alice from the tower.

Rogers and Henry try to find a way to clear Tilly of Hilda's murder. In the past, Alice escapes the tower and discovers that she's still trapped, and teams up with Robin to defeat a troll threatening a nearby village.

Ivy tries to make amends with Anastasia, while Henry, Rogers, and Nate go out on the town. In the past, Drizella joins forces with another young witch to win Gothel's contest and join the Coven.

In the past, Henry asks for Hook's help finding a ring with a story to give to Ella. In the present, Henry gets a job offer in New York, but first Weaver asks for his help figuring out who the Candy Killer is. Meanwhile, Tilly gets a new job, and Zelena and Margot have an argument.

The Candy Killer holds Henry captive, but Rogers realizes that Henry has been abducted. Meanwhile, Zelena tries to make up for her past, but the Candy Killer won't let it go.

While Tilly and Margot spend the day together, Weaver discovers that someone has taken the Dagger and tries to find it. In the past, Gold tests Alice to determine if she is the Guardian, and faces a test of his own.

Tilly and Rogers go looking for the covens, unaware of a traitor nearby. Meanwhile, Samdi and Lucy team up to save Henry when the curse ends, but things don't go as planned. In the past, Gothel is given good reason to hate humanity.

Regina and Lucy try to find a way to restore Henry's memories and break the curse before it's too late. In the past, Young Henry considers his future and receives a surprising phone call.

Henry is barely reunited with his family, when the Wish Rumplestiltskin kidnaps them to force Henry to make a deal with him. Regina, Gold, and Hook vow to help him defeat the Dark One. In the past, the Wish Rumplestiltskin offers a young Henry a deal.

The Wish Rumplestiltskin crafts magical prisons for all of his adversaries, and needs Young Henry to kill Regina so that he can send everyone. To stop him, Gold and Hook must make the ultimate sacrifice.
