George Akiyama's masterpiece "Haguregumo" will be revived in Reiwa as a BS period drama starring Kuranosuke Sasaki! The story also depicts a series of encounters between Wandering Cloud and people who live in the turbulence of history, such as Jirocho Shimizu, Ryoma Sakamoto, and Souji Okita. The setting is Shinagawa-juku at the end of the Edo period. ``Unagumo'' is an eccentric man who wears women's kimono and ties his hair on his forehead. Even though he lives his days carelessly with a fluffy and elusive demeanor, he begins to gently influence people's destinies. The story revolves around the family life of Kame, a determined wife, and Shinnosuke, his son. At Yumeya, a wholesale store run by Kumo, the daily turmoil is constantly woven by the unique people, including the shopkeeper, Yujiro.
