Overview
1954 In the Orenburg region, the Soviet Union conducted large-scale exercises: an atomic explosion, and then a simulation of military operations involving a large amount of military equipment and fifty thousand military personnel. The result: thousands of people died from the consequences of these exercises. Nothing is known about the tragedy, because all participants signed a non-disclosure agreement. Decades later, journalist Nadezhda Keller, thanks to the diary of her deceased father, learns about the disaster. She is determined to restore justice, but to do this she will have to challenge the system.
