In Los Mufas: suerte para la desgracia, Roque, a paranormal journalist, teams up with the most dangerous "mufa" in Argentina, Vicente, to conduct an investigation that will change the course of his life. They both want to find a solution to this phenomenon that affects certain people, involuntarily and inexplicably producing ruins and storms around them. However, Roque's powerful, multimillionaire boss doesn't want this report to come to light. In return, he offers Roque an unusual assignment, in exchange for a large sum of money: to free his daughter from a "mufa cult" and save her from the clutches of a perverse and psychopathic parapsychologist. Although Roque's path seems to be uphill, the adventures he experiences with Vicente will give meaning to his life again and help him heal family wounds from yesterday and today.
