Overview
Zhou Jichun (played by Ming Dao), a son of a fisherman's family, and Kong Lingyi (played by Li Man), a daughter of a wealthy family, meet by chance. The difference between the rich and the poor is highlighted from the beginning. Later, the two go to Shanghai to study together.
