Overview
Leonora is a Parisian, nightclub singer, who marries a Brazilian, brother of Ricardo and César. When she becomes a widow, she comes to Brazil, seeking help from her husband's family. César, the older and bourgeois brother, at first, does not accept her presence, but later comes to love her. Ricardo finds himself immediately in love with the girl. From then on, complications arise because César is married to the crazy Virginia, and Ricardo is engaged to the noblewoman Silvana. Before the love triangles are undone, Leonora still flirts with Maurício, a lawyer who is a friend of the brothers.
