In the early 1930s, someone came to Su's house in the suburbs of Shanghai to buy a family antique of the Su family - a porcelain pillow from the Song Dynasty. Mr. Su sternly refused and smashed the porcelain pillow to show his determination. Daughter Su Tao came out to clean up, but unexpectedly found an exquisite bronze mirror among the broken porcelain. Out of curiosity, she took the bronze mirror back to the attic to play with it, but unexpectedly it triggered a series of strange and bizarre things. In order to make a living, Wuxin took Bai Liuli to set up a fortune-telling stall in front of a casino every day. On this day, he met Su Tao again. With Wu Xin's help, Su Tao finally contacted his brother. She followed Wuxin and moved into a small alley in the slums. Together with Wuxin and Bai Niangzi (the little white snake possessed by Bai Liuli), she temporarily lived a happy and warm life, waiting for her brother's return. It was at this time that Dingmao, a young master of the chamber of commerce who was handsome and indistinguishable between male and female, broke into the lives of Wu Xin and Su Tao. He is the adopted son of a Shanghai gangster. After the gangster fled to Hong Kong, the concession power was divided into two. The underworld business was handed over to the three elders headed by Chen Daguang, and the Baidao Chamber of Commerce became the world of Little Dingmao. He has a sophistication that belies his age, and he fights secretly with Chen Daguangming and stirs up troubles; on the other hand, he actually shows an unusual interest in Wuxin and Su Tao. Rin Shirakawa from Japan suddenly intervened. After several battles, Bai Liuli underestimated the enemy and was captured, but unexpectedly discovered the secret of the bronze mirror. Facing Shirakawa Rin's pressing step by step, Wu Xin decided to take the initiative. With the help of Xiao Dingmao and Gu Ji's gang forces, he set up a game within a game and destroyed the bronze mirror in Bai Chuanlin's hand. This move could have killed him, but Gu Ji secretly helped him escape, hoping to gain the position of Yantu's agent. After some turmoil, Onmyoji disappeared, Chen Daguang fell, and even Gu Ji left. The days seemed to have returned to peace. Wu Xin took Su Tao and lived together on an isolated island in the middle of a war, in a rapidly changing situation. Unknowingly, Su Tao had a deep affection for Wu Xin. In this turbulent era, Su Tao and Wu Xin are just two tiny specks of dust. The gears of fate have begun to turn, and where will they be taken?
