On May 11, 2001, a robbery and murder occurred in Dongshan City that shocked the country. The murderer killed three credit union workers, used oxygen cutting technology to open the vault door, and escaped after robbing a huge sum of 2.65 million yuan. After the incident, the entire Dongshan public security system was shocked: the murderer did not leave any conclusive evidence and committed a perfect crime. The public security system quickly established a task force and mobilized all police forces to widely offer rewards for clues in major cases.
