Overview
With "Bitte, keine Réclame" (German for "please, no advertising") Franco Battiato creates an experimental television show, in which he explores different cultural territories with numerous guests. The idea is reflected in the very structure of the studio, divided into four sides identified with the cardinal points, each of which corresponds to a specific area: the North is music, the South philosophy, the East spirituality and mysticism, the West synthesis. The singer-songwriter's accomplices in this adventure include the actress Sonia Bergamasco, who supports him in hosting, the pianist and composer Arturo Stalteri, for the musical part, and the philosopher Manlio Sgalambro, his historic collaborator and co-author of the program.
