Overview
During the Anti-Japanese War, a certain unit of the New Fourth Army fought in a roundabout way with the enemy and once evacuated the Changshu area, leaving 18 sick and wounded soldiers to recuperate in Shajiabang Town on the bank of Yangcheng Lake. Hu Chuankui and Diao Deyi, the leaders of the reactionary armed Loyalty and Salvation Army, followed the orders of Japanese colonel Kuroda and tried every means to hunt down the sick and wounded members of the New Fourth Army. A Qingsao, the party branch secretary of Shajiabang Town, opened a teahouse in the name of opening a teahouse, but was actually the party's underground liaison. When Hu Chuankui first debuted, he was chased by the Japanese army. Fortunately, Aqingsao saved his life. Sister-in-law Ah Qing took advantage of the contradiction between Hu Chuankui and Diao Deyi, fought against them tactfully, and with the help of the party leadership and the masses, she overcame obstacles and finally evacuated 18 sick and wounded patients safely.
