Overview
Six-year-old Xiao Haiyan lives happily in a seaside town with her father Dayong and mother Jinhua. However, Dayong was actually married before and secretly took care of his sick ex-wife and daughter without telling Jinhua. Jinhua was furious when she knew the truth, and Dayong went to sea with the ocean-going cargo ship, hoping to earn some money. After Dayong went to sea, his ex-wife's leukemia condition worsened. The hard-faced and soft-hearted Jin Hua went to the hospital to take care of her. Before her death, her ex-wife entrusted her daughter Hai Jun to Jin Hua. Jinhua took Haijun home. She waited for Dayong to return alone with her two daughters, but what she waited for was bad news.
