Overview
In the town of Edo, there was a lot of talk about the Gozen match. A battle between strong comrades, swordsman Araki Mataemon and spear master Kawai Jinzaemon (Wazaki Toshiya). Moreover, Kawai's nephew, Matagoro, is the enemy of Araki's brother-in-law, Kazuma. In other words, it will be a prelude to taking revenge on the enemy. Choshichiro, who was invited to the Gozen match, was also concerned about this. The match between the two appeared to be a trade-off, but the inspector, Munefuyu Yagyu (Tetsuro Tanba), decided that Kawai had won. Araki complained and tried to pull out his wakizashi, but Choshichiro intervened. Once again, Choshichiro had a hunch that Yagyu was involved, and when he investigated, he discovered that there was a conspiracy to destroy the Bizen Okayama clan in addition to revenge. The only way to prevent this from happening is to stop the revenge, but can Araki be persuaded that revenge is Bushido? !
