Overview
Paris, 1899. Céleste, a Cancan dancer in a cabaret in Montmartre, desperately tries to find the brother and sister from whom she was brutally separated as a child when their father was murdered before their eyes. To be able to pay Léon, the inspector responsible for finding them, she has no other choice but to dance naked. She thus becomes the first stripper in Paris and causes a scandal despite herself. From show to show, as she gains confidence, a new life opens up to her but the demons of her past never stop catching up with her.
