Overview
Seibei (Satoshi Yamamura), the head carpenter who runs the ``Yorozu Aid Guchi Undertaking Office'', earns a living by giving ronin Bunjuro Nakayama (Takahiro Tamura) and former samurai playboy Tsujihirauchi (Ichiro Nakatani) chores around town such as cleaning drains, walking dogs, and house-sitting. However, Seibei and the shopkeeper, Rikichi (Masaki Tsusaka, now Taisaku Akino), were both thieves and took on ``behind the scenes'' jobs that could not be revealed publicly, and Bunjuro and Hiranai were also talented individuals who were willing to kill to help others.
