"Youth in War", an inspirational tribute drama to revolutionary youth co-produced by Shanghai Film Group, will be broadcast on the Oriental Movie Channel from September 29. The play is adapted from a true story and tells the touching story of several young Eighth Route Army soldiers during their passionate years during the Anti-Japanese War. Jin Aoxun serves as the artistic director and is directed by the famous director Chen Yazhou. It gathers hot new stars such as Jia Qing, Jin Jia, and Huang Ming, and is joined by powerful "veterans" such as Shi Yu and Cheng Yong who are familiar and loved by the audience, giving the play a strong "powerful" atmosphere. Many exciting scenes with actors from three generations, old, middle and young, also caused frequent conflicts in the play. On September 28, the creators of the show walked into Jiaxing Street, Hongkou District, and had close interactions with community residents. As a tribute drama for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, "Youth in War" is different from previous dramas with the main theme. The drama is adapted from real people and true events. Several male and female protagonists in the drama are real people, such as Zhang Peiran who gave up glory and wealth to join the revolution, sniper Tong Hui, the daughter of a revolutionary, Zhou Jianfeng, a young company commander who was educated in college, Duo'er whose parents were brutally murdered by the Japanese, etc., are the epitome of every passionate young man in that special era. The play starts from the perspective of the growth of revolutionary warriors and describes the youthful demeanor of these young warriors and young builders of the Republic from a unique perspective. All the main roles are also played by newcomers, which is very consistent with the theme of "youth" and "inspirational" of the play. "Youth in Fire" is a TV series dedicated to the National Day. The crew restored the authenticity of the battlefield. The tanks, armored vehicles, military vehicles, mortars, light and heavy machine guns and other ordnance used in the drama were all restored to a one-to-one size. In addition to fully restoring the fierce anti-Japanese battlefield, the passionate performances of several young actors also show the turbulent process of "youth blooming in a unique way amidst the smoke of gunfire, and people's hearts becoming clear in the difficult years". Young actors Jia Qing and Jin Jia, who had sweetly held hands in the Republic of China light comedy "Sentimental Women and Loved Men", will star in "Youth at War" as revolutionary comrades who are "loving and concubine interested". The male lead is played by Huang Ming, the "rock boy" who became famous for "Golden Earrings". Newcomer Zheng Yitong, who has performed brilliantly in two new films by Hong Kong genius director Wong Jing, "Future Police" and "Ouchi Secret Agent", stars in the film as the anti-female number one Tang Rui.
