Overview
In 1931, the ambitious Japanese imperialists brazenly launched the September 18th Incident. However, Chiang Kai-shek (played by Ma Xiaowei)'s non-resistance policy allowed the arrogant arrogance of the invaders. The Northeast fell overnight, and the crisis of national subjugation and genocide was imminent. At this juncture, a massive anti-Japanese wave was launched across the country. Among them, a group of patriots at the Shanghai Bund Labor Association were even more excited. A group of people headed by Wang Jiuzhou (played by Hou Yong) decided to take risks and assassinate Chiang Kai-shek. During the operation, he met Yue Jin, the daughter of Mei Mo'an (played by Shen Junyi), who was responsible for Lao Chiang's security work, and started a series of duels around Yue Jin and Lao Jiang, Jiuzhou and Mei Mo'an. As the situation at home and abroad changed, the assassination teams also quietly split up. Actions against Chiang Kai-shek and the Japanese occurred one after another, but the country's future remained bleak and unclear. After meeting Chen Yunqiu, Jiuzhou and Yue Jin realized that killing Chiang Kai-shek would not end China. China's hope may lie in the Communist Party.
