Overview
The play tells the story of Meng Fanyao, his family and Feng Lanlan who resisted the forced acquisition of the Mengjia Coal Mine by the Englishman Baldwin on the eve of the Revolution of 1911. In the end, unable to get rid of the forced acquisition, Meng Fanyao and Feng Lanlan detonated the mine and died together with the enemy, showing their story of persistence and sacrifice for love and national industry.
