Overview
We will meet ten-year-old Vladek, who has been living with his grandfather in the village for half a year, because his mother went to improve her qualifications and is in long-term training. We also get to know the inhabitants of the village, the quirky neighbors Kapustová and Debnárová, the eternal gossipers, and little Pavlínka, who is somewhat in love with Vladek and therefore writes a diary. In particular, we will get to know a peculiar grandfather, a local former blacksmith and a perfect inventor.
