On October 1, 1949, with Comrade Mao Zedong's words "The Chinese people have stood up," the Chinese nation began to regain its vitality and stood tall among the nations of the world. An unprecedented and world-famous history began. In the early 1950s, in order to aid North Korea and safeguard China's security, the Chinese People's Volunteer Army officially launched the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. On July 16, 1960, the close relationship between China and the Soviet Union broke down. The Soviet Union unilaterally tore up 600 contracts signed with my country and withdrew experts in various fields that assisted China. On October 16, 1964, my country's first atomic bomb was successfully detonated. In January 1971, Nixon began an ice-breaking trip to China. On August 14, 1971, Mao Zedong prepared to appoint Deng Xiaoping. On March 10, 1973, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued a decision to reinstate Deng Xiaoping as Vice Premier of the State Council. On February 22, 1974, Mao Zedong met with Zambian President Kaunda and proposed the theory of three world divisions. On August 4, 1977, Deng Xiaoping, who had gone through three downturns and three upswings, returned as Vice Premier of the State Council. He first overturned the sixteen-character policy and restored the college entrance examination system. At the same time, there was a great discussion about practice being the only criterion for testing truth, the emancipation of the mind, the breaking of the shackles of the two worlds, the redress of unjust, false and wrong cases, a large number of veteran cadres returning to work, and the reform trend sweeping the land of China. On October 1, 1984, the National Day ceremony, which had been suspended for 25 years, was once again grandly staged. In the scene where Deng Xiaoping was frozen on the Tiananmen Tower that day, he looked at Tiananmen Square with a deep look, as if he was recalling scenes of the past. Now, China's national strength continues to develop and it plays an increasingly important role on the international stage. All of this is inseparable from the contributions of the older generation of revolutionaries such as Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, and Deng Xiaoping.
