Overview
Devekuşu Kabare is a theater group founded by Ahmet Gülhan, Zeki Alasya and Metin Akpınar under the leadership of Haldun Taner, and performed plays in Istanbul between 1967 and 1992. With his unique style, he became one of the important representatives of the cabaret genre in Türkiye and attracted a large audience to his plays. He included social and political satire in his plays.
