Overview
Two Spanish Republicans who had taken refuge in France in 1939, having experienced the internment camps in the south of France, were hired to harvest the grapes for a Jura wine estate producing vin jaune. One of them, Pablo, a former Barcelona architect, discovered and learned to love working with the vines and the land, while the other, Enrique, left the farm on the second day.
