Overview
In 1939, in the transition zone from the Jizhong Plain to the Taihang Mountains, the people in Fenglingdu had no food at home and were hungry. Several young college students who came to Hebei from Peiping to participate in the Anti-Japanese War and prepare to build an arsenal were escorted by the Eighth Route Military District team and crossed the Japanese blockade. However, they were sniped by the Japanese army and the district team was almost wiped out. In order to successfully establish a secret small arsenal, manufacture explosives and landmines, and support the Eighth Route Army in the War of Resistance, the rebuilt district team step by step tempered in the fierce war and grew up in the face of life and death decisions. They were indomitable and fought bravely, using wisdom and blood to resist the Japanese aggressors, support the anti-Japanese war, and defend the people.
