Overview
In the mid-1980s, Ge Dahong was sentenced to life imprisonment for accidentally injuring a human life. His wife Su Mei gave her two-year-old son to the policeman Xing's family to raise, and she hid her pregnancy and married Lin Zuosheng. The eldest son Xing Fei, who was given to the Xing family, became a policeman, and the youngest son Lin Yinan, who followed Su Mei to the Lin family, also completed his studies and returned home. Ge Dahong was released from prison, and Xing Fei's family accepted him. Su Mei, on the other hand, begged Ge Dahong to leave on the grounds of her son's future. Ge Dahong accidentally revealed the mystery of Lin Yinan's life experience. Lin Yinan was shocked and moved to murder, while cunningly covering up the evidence of his presence.
