Overview
In 1977, the Gang of Four and the ten years of turmoil that had brought disaster to the country and the people were wiped out. The country that is riddled with holes has finally regained new vitality. The college entrance examination, which was finally restored, has pointed out a new path for young people who have been delayed in their studies and life. Liu Siyang (played by Shao Feng) and Qiao Huimin (played by Liu Weiwei), who are educated youths in Shantun, originally planned to take this opportunity to study together and get married. However, they were framed by Wang Fugui (played by Xiao Guangyi), an educated youth in Shantun. After many twists and turns, the lovers finally parted ways. Ten years later, Liu came to a university with his wife Hao Jiali (played by Liu Xin) as a PhD student studying abroad to serve as the dean of the department. Unexpectedly, he reunited with Huimin, who had been divorced. Under the wave of the new era, the two seem to see the dawn of rebuilding the old relationship, but creation has many tricks on people. Liu Siyang, Qiao Huimin and everyone around them will still be forced to accept the control and arrangements of fate.
