Overview
Miho Natsukawa (Ayako Kawahara) is still a budding writer, and her childhood friend Goro Nagata (Mikihisa Higashi) works as a photographer at the editorial department of Town magazine in Kyoto. One day, Miho stops by the Japanese sweets shop run by Goro's mother, Shizuko (Junko Ikeuchi), and finds it strangely deserted. In fact, Ryoko Tsukui's (Keiko Imamura) Japanese confectionery shop in the next town has plagiarized Shizuko's original confectionery, and the customer traffic is going that way. Miho finds out about this and protests to Ryoko, but Ryoko doesn't listen.
