Carràmba! (subtitled What a surprise from 1995 to 1998 and in 2002; What a fortune from 1998 to 2001 and in 2008) was an Italian television program broadcast in prime time on Rai 1 from 1995 to 2002 and in 2008, hosted by Raffaella Carrà. From this broadcast the neologism carrambata was born, explained by Devoto Oli (ed. 2008) as "unexpected meeting with one or more people with whom contact had been lost", referring to an unexpected meeting between people who have not seen each other for some time.
