Overview
In the winter of 1949, Chiang Kai-shek and Mao Renfeng tried to survive in the southwest and faced off against the new People's Republic. After completing the Zhazidong and Baigongguan massacres in Chongqing that shocked China and the world, they secretly came to Chengdu and assigned four major tasks of "secret control, sabotage, lurking, and guerrilla" to the tens of thousands of military reunification agents and spies from all walks of life gathered here. Therefore, when the young people's police that I had just formed entered Chengdu, the last big city liberated in the country, with the People's Liberation Army, they were faced with the extremely severe, sharp, fierce and complex task of eradicating the remaining bandits, eliminating enemy agents, protecting people's lives and property, and defending the new red regime.
