A remake of the popular drama ``Wuthering Heights,'' an adaptation of Emily Bronte's ``Wuthering Heights.'' Hiroyuki Watanabe, who previously played Takeshi, continues to play the father-like role of the main character, and while paying homage to the original version, the remake also has a variety of highlights. In the early Showa era, Den'emon (Hiroyuki Watanabe), the head of the Saegusa family, a large landowner, takes in an orphan who bears the resemblance of his late second son to his mansion, naming him Takeshi. Takeshi (Jun Kaname), who became a servant of the Saegusa family, and his eldest daughter Hikaru (Miki Fujitani) have been attracted to each other since childhood, but a turbulent fate awaits them.
