Northeastern Jilin in 1944. The anti-Japanese armed forces led by the gun king Na Wuchang shocked the enemy. The party organization sent Qiao Daliang to partner with Na Wuchang to form the Northeast Anti-Japanese Independent Brigade. Qiao Daliang's task was to recruit Na Wuchang to join the Communist Party and transform his troops into a revolutionary team. However, due to different ideas, the two often clashed fiercely.
