Overview
This drama tells the story of the outbreak of the Pacific War, the Sino-Japanese war entered a stalemate, and the Japanese army carried out crazy bombings on our base areas and rear areas. The Nationalist Government specially invited a radar expert Jenny from the United States to assist in the construction of radar facilities in the rear. Jenny also brought a safe containing important confidential information. However, the plane transporting American experts lost its way and entered the sky over Japanese-occupied areas. It was hit by the Japanese army and forced to land in the mountains and forests. In order to rescue Jenny, the national army captain Jiang Bo sneaked into enemy-occupied areas, but was eventually jailed for being betrayed by a traitor. In times of crisis, the New Fourth Army militiaman Kang Bao, a carpenter, stepped forward. With his wisdom, bravery, tenacity, simple understanding of war, respect for life, and his unique grassroots fighting style, he saved the lives of Jiang Bo and Jenny time and time again...
