Overview
"Going to Nanyang" is another Chinese TV series by CCTV that reflects the theme of the great population migration in modern history after "Crossing the Guandong" and "Going to the West Exit". It is also the last part of CCTV's "Crossing the Guandong, Going to the West Exit and Going to Nanyang" trilogy of modern great migration. Directed by Shen Haofang, written by Yu Zhixian and Lian Yue, and co-starring Tong Dawei, Huang Shengyi, Zhang Mo, Wu Ma, Yuan Hua, Tong Lei, Sui Junbo and others. The play is set against the backdrop of the great changes in the fate of the country. It tells the story of the children of Lingnan who were not afraid of the dangers of the journey and traveled across the ocean. After many hardships, they came to the barren land of Southeast Asia and relied on their diligence and hard work to completely change their own and their family's destiny. "Going to Nanyang" premiered nationwide on CCTV8 during prime time on the evening of March 3, 2011
