Bank clerk Rowan's life is turned upside down when, just as she is made redundant, her son Finn runs into trouble after fleeing as his friend Conor is caught by the police delivering a suspicious bag of cash.
Rowan hits upon a plan to rob the bank where she works. After her ex-boyfriend Patrick agrees to help, he suggests planting a spy camera on Varisha to get the safe codes. When Rowan admits Finn is in trouble, Varisha returns the camera but refuses to help further.
As Rowan plans the bank robbery, she's interrupted by Detective Simmons. Varisha is scared they have been rumbled. Rowan sees Patrick as a liability and refuses to involve him any further.
At the vault, firefighters find Mal and Varisha, who tells them that Rowan was taken hostage. Rowan figures out where Patrick is and goes to meet Kristof - who is ready to kill Finn.
