The U.S. Treasury Department says it was hacked by cybercriminals backed by the Chinese government. A Treasury official said the attackers breached federal workstations, but did not provide details on what sort of unclassified documents they may have obtained. City officials in New Orleans say a vehicle plowed into a crowd on Bourbon Street, killing at least 10 people and injuring dozens more. A witness said they saw a truck going at a high speed. CBS News' Kati Weis has more. Many in Puerto Rico started 2025 without electricity as the local power company said it could take another day to turn the power back on after a blackout impacted most of the island. The FBI says it found more than 150 pipe bombs in a raid on a Virginia farm. Investigators say Brad Spafford was arrested after a tip that he was stockpiling weapons.
