In 1939, the Anti-Japanese War entered an arduous stalemate stage. The Japanese invasion was blocked on the battlefield in Hunan, and Hunan became the forefront of the frontal battlefield of the Anti-Japanese War. Tong Lian, a member of the Communist Party of China, was entrusted by the party organization and under the cover of her public identity as a staff member of the Hunan Anti-Japanese War and National Salvation Charity Federation, she undertook the special task of opening a secret underground transportation line from the rear of Chongqing through the Xuefeng Mountains in western Hunan to transport anti-war supplies to the front lines of Hunan. At the foot of Xuefeng Mountain in western Hunan, with Maxipu Town as the center and a radius of dozens of miles, it was called "Ganziying" in ancient times. It is the place where the "Gan people" of Jiugong and Seventeen Villages have lived for generations. Tian Dayou, who runs an oil press, and his daughter Suisui live a peaceful and peaceful mountain life here.
