Overview
During a trip to Santiago de Chile with her husband and some friends, Elena's life changes; She is sentenced to life imprisonment and imprisoned for a crime she did not commit. Elena was found with the body of one of her traveling companions and with a gun in her hand, so she was accused of the murder although she always claimed to be innocent. After this trip Fernando, Elena's husband, decides to divorce her and to avoid a social scandal and protect the reputation of his company, he informs his family and friends that his wife is dead. Fifteen years later, Elena is released from prison for good behavior and returns to Mexico in search of the person responsible for the destruction of her life.
