Overview
In Shanghai in the 1920s, the Xie family brothers and sisters, whose parents were framed, were separated and took different paths in life. Xie Zhifei established his own cotton mill after many ups and downs. He worked and struggled with the workers, and contributed to the improvement of the workers' social status. With the great assistance of the cotton mill manager Xu Feng (actually the Communist Party), he served as the chairman of the Shanghai Factory Relocation Committee, shouldering the important task of moving the Shanghai factory to the mainland. Xie Zhifei accidentally discovered that the person who killed his parents was Zhang Shen who colluded with the Japanese to obstruct the relocation. He launched a fierce fight with Zhang Shen over the relocation of the factory. After a long and tortuous journey to find relatives, Xie Zhifei finally found his brother and sister. In order to save Xie Zhifei, his brother died under Zhang Shen's gun. His sister joined the Communist Party. Zhang Shen, who was unjust and helpless, was defeated by Xie Zhifei. Later, the brother and sister gathered the power of justice and began a desperate battle with the greater evil force behind Zhang Shen-the Japanese invaders! After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Xie Zhifei donated all his assets and industries to New China. The brother and sister came to Xie Zhinian's tomb to comfort his brother's spirit in heaven.
